The challenge
A nursery needs to coordinate customer orders and seedling production across branches, zones and rooms. Spreadsheet-based planning makes it difficult to keep production stages, available capacity and field conditions aligned.
The solution
Quinta structures the seedling lifecycle from seed reception and orders through sowing, grafting, inspections and deliveries. Capacity planning tracks occupancy and highlights constraints across the nursery hierarchy. An IoT module connects ESP32 hubs and LoRa sensor nodes for environmental telemetry, device administration and firmware-update workflows.
My role
I led the translation of operational requirements into the platform’s scope and delivery priorities. My responsibilities covered team coordination, technology selection, architecture follow-up, development planning and quality oversight. I coordinated the relationship between nursery workflows, administrative interfaces and connected-device services, while managing evolving requirements and release preparation.
Value delivered
The business gains a structured foundation for coordinating production, planning capacity and following work across locations. Connected monitoring adds visibility into field conditions alongside the operational records used by staff.
